Jude Bellingham Functioned in a high role on the right and did plenty of defensive duties. Showed glimpses of brilliance and dragged an effort wide. Substituted late on by Rogers, his competition, after being booked. Seven

The winger Was presented with England’s best chance of the first half, his strike excellently kept out by the Albanian keeper. As Quansah staying deep, he was forced to provide width on the right but his crosses from the touchline were hit and miss. Taken off for the final quarter-hour. Six

Harry Kane The difference-maker netting seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth strikes at international level. The opener a typical poacher’s finish while the second a superb headed goal after peeling away from his marker. Now 32, he’s only getting better and the side are strong contenders in the upcoming tournament with him up top. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Struggled to influence play from the left. Was presented with a presentable chance following a pass by the midfielder yet the keeper made the save. His replacement produced a bigger effect when substituted. Five
