Liverpool's Star Offers Apology to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has disclosed that Mohamed Salah said sorry to the entire Liverpool squad following the fallout from his televised remarks.

Salah was left out from a key Champions League match after voicing frustrations and suggesting his connection to the head coach had broken down.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I'm sorry.’”
Arne Slot has chosen not to comment publicly on whether he received a personal apology from the veteran striker.
Looking Ahead
The player stated that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, he was smiling and everybody was exactly the same with him,” he continued.
The midfielder also implied that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “I get that there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just not start, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
On-Field Response
The team's performance have remained strong in the matches since the situation. Jones believes the outburst were not intended to destabilise the squad.
“If passion has boiled over, it has consistently come from a good place,” he finished. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, playing well and starting to win games.”
