Fresh particulars have surfaced concerning the tragic passing of renowned film director Rob Reiner and artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were found at their Los Angeles home home on Sunday.

A Discovery

According to a report referencing a family associate, a practitioner arriving for an session first raised the alarm after failing to get inside the residence. The therapist then reached out to the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides close by.

Upon entering the residence, Romy came upon her father's body. Reports state she then fled the house in anguish, not realizing at that moment that her mother's body was also present. Her roommate who had accompanied her promptly called 911. Subsequently, paramedics found Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Criminal Proceedings

The police have charged the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of premeditated murder, as well as the charge related to a weapon, said to be a knife. He is presently being held and denied bail.
